Dr. Alexios Lekidis

Dr. Alexios Lekidis received the joint Bachelor and Master degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 2011 till 2015 he worked in the Verimag Research Center from where he received the PhD in Theoretical Computer Science, His PhD focused on the validation, analysis and performance evaluation of networked embedded systems (including automotive, industrial automation, Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet of Things) using model-based techniques and formal methods. After his PhD, he worked in ASML’s Metrology Department focusing on the mathematical models for the calibration of lithographic machines. Between 2017-2020 we worked in the network security domain as a Lecturer at the Eindhoven University of Technology (post-doc) as well as in the industrial companies Forescout and ENCODE. Dr Lekidis has also extensive experience on energy consumption analysis for the Internet of Things (IoT) obtained by performing a post-doc in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
