The EUT-EOM-CTL-2 is a graphical interface bias controller for Mach-Zehnder electro-optic modulators.

It provides real time tracking and stable locking of MIN, MAX, QUAD-, QUAD+ operating points as well as 40 intermediate points across the negative and positive slope of the modulator’s response.

It implements a hardware automatic gain control and a high resolution detection circuit providing wide range of optical power operation and increased stability at the MIN and MAX points.

The board provides ports for connecting to external monitoring photodiodes (amplified or not) and includes an on-board tapped photodiode.
