Financial Manager of EU Funded Projects
Description
EULAMBIA Advanced Technologies is seeking to collaborate with an experienced professional (either a natural or legal person) in the field of financial management of EU-funded projects. The position is part-time and based on remote collaboration.
About the role
- Financial monitoring, planning, and management of the company’s EU-funded projects.
- Preparation and submission of cost reports to the funding authorities; compilation of project financial statements.
- Ensuring compliance with the financial rules of the funding programmes, including cost eligibility and related obligations.
- Establishment and maintenance of appropriate time-recording and cost-monitoring systems.
- Implementation of budget modifications and amendments to Grant Agreements.
- Optimization of budget utilization.
- Communication with project coordinating organisations and/or EU Project, Financial, or Legal Officers (as required) regarding all relevant matters.
- The collaboration will extend for the duration of the company’s ongoing projects.
About you
- At least 15 years of experience in financial monitoring and management of EU-funded projects.
- Proven experience in the financial management of at least 200 EU projects, necessarily including projects under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes.
- Excellent knowledge of EU financial eligibility rules, Grant Agreement obligations, and project procedures, demonstrated through relevant past experience and formal roles/responsibilities.
- Proven experience in managing both cost-reimbursement and lump-sum projects.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken), along with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Qualifications, Skills, and Experience that will be taken into consideration:
Experience in the financial management of EU projects as a Coordinator of EU consortia.
Selection procedure:
The final selection will be based on the extent to which each candidate meets the above criteria, as well as the outcome of a personal interview. In the case of legal entities, the above criteria apply to the specific individual who will be designated as responsible for carrying out the required tasks and responsibilities on behalf of the entity.
